Black Canyon has a portfolio of tenements prospective for manganese in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The portfolio includes both 100%-owned tenure and a package of tenements held in a joint venture (JV) with Carawine Resources, where BCA is earning a 75% interest.
Exploration and mineral resource drilling across the Balfour Manganese Field has been highly successful for the Company, which has now delineated a Global Mineral Resource Estimate totalling 314Mt @ 10.5% Mn containing 33.1 Mt of manganese classified as Measured (32%) Indicated (48%) and Inferred (20%). Importantly, a higher-grade component has been established, totalling 99 Mt @ 12.9% Mn containing 12.8 Mt of Manganese, classified as Measured (25%) Indicated (30%) and Inferred (45%).
Over the next 12 months, the Company plans to undertake exploration programs across all of its tenement portfolio.
